'81 the Hounds lost to Middlesboro in the District and didn't make the playoffs. (Only one person made it back then)

In '86 Mayfield won their second in a row over New Cath who had Frank Jacobs.

In '96 Corbin was upset by Madison Southern who then lost to Boyle in the Regional Finals. Rebels were defeated by Breathitt on their way to their second State Title in a row. The Hounds were undefeated until the upset in the playoffs.

You seem to be much more knowledgable of it than i am.
I obviously wasnt around then but i have heard stories of certain teams at Corbin, and i thought these were some of the teams.
In your opinion, were there any teams that could have possibly made it to state, with or without Cotton?
