sstack Wrote:Talking to a HHS assistant coach and he made an interesting comment. He said the staff has watched film from every Cov Cath game and that the Offense CCH put on the field agianst Highlands, was not seen in any game before or any game since. Did CCH just have an incredible game agianst Highlands? Is CCH overrated? Was it just a bad matchup for Highlands? Did HHS just have an off Saturday afternoon game? I guess these questions will be answered in the next 1-2 weeks.

I think the Saturday Afternoon helped but more importanly i think is the familiarity with highlands. remember last year cov cath only lost by seven at highlands and JC ran all over the colonels. so if that tells us anything its that Cov cath knows highlands very well and it being a big rivalry the kids play harder in that game. but is also tells us we shouldnt use the Highlands score as a barometer as to how cov cath will perform against the top teams in our district.
