You are correct in that Highlands has a 8.55 avg wins/year and Mayfield has a 8.53 wins per year average using the data but the data you are using is ending in 2010.

John Hardin is a new school as is LCA. So new that they have no place in this discussion. ST X is not close with 700 wins through 93 seasons using the 2010 end point you used. T is also a young school but they are averaging the most wins so far but only time will tell if they can maintain over a nearly a 90+ year period. Beechwood will not be that good as their success began in the 1980's. Prior to that they were just another team.

I did not see that in your comment, so I took it for what it said and made appropriate comments. As I read your comment above, you had left it open for all Kentucky schools, new or old.

Yes, Highlands and Mayfield are the leading schools when you consider only the ones that have a very long history of football. Both schools will have an improved average after 2011 as they both have 11 wins already this year with a maximum of 4 games left. If they both win championships, then Highlands will improve their lead, however, Mayfield can take the lead if they win two more games this year than Highlands wins.
