Question: Was R.C. Thomas the Large Defensive Lineman they had in the 70's or was he on the teams in '80 or '82? I remember a very strong and big D Lineman on the '77 team that turned their game with Boyle around by just ripping the ball out of our RB's hands when we were driving for a possible go-ahead score in the 3rd Quarter.

Steve Bird was in the backfield of that '77 team but I can't remember too many of the other players. Any Corbin folks won't to help out this old geezer. :thanks:

R.C. graduated in 1976...he played guard, noseguard and at times linebacker. I don't remember who stole that ball, it might have been Steve Baird, John Franchioni, Rusty Onkst or Dan Chase. Tom Horvath was QB, Roger Jones-RB, Steve Bird-RB, Ronnie Watkins-FB. Other players: Bill Cummins, Mark Hewlett, Alan Rose, Richie Franchioni, Roy Taylor, Jim Bonza, Robbie Igo, Kevin Brock. I'm forgeting some, but it will come to me.
