Holy Cross (Covington) at Newport Central Catholic (Class 1A)

Last season NCC won a class 2A title and also lost to a Class 1A team. A Class 1A team that was eliminated during the playoffs. If you win a state title, but have a loss to a team in a lower class, your title should get an *asterik.

This is when your posts become utterly ridiculous and completely unfounded.:biglmao: Don't make the NCC loss to Beechwood as bad as you are trying to make it sound. Beechwood beat two 6A teams and that should never EVER happen! The only loss that Beechwood had was the the #2 3A school in the state by 12 points. So lets not make Beechwood sound like the poor little 1A team. They, as well as Mayfield, are as far from being the typical 1A team as Trinity is being the typical 6A team.

NCC is on equal playing grounds in 2A. Beechwood is NOT!
