I checked to see if I put my foot in my mouth, & I was going to apologize if I did. But I see I did some research , and what I came up with is ........ 1)You state middlesboro is your cross-town rival, well most people consider their rivals to be an opponent that you play on a regular basis & the series goes back & forth at least a little , well I checked and before this year the last time bell played middlesboro was 2004 with both those games having ridiculously lopsided scores. 2) TWO ! I blew up the picture of the t-shirts AND NOWHERE ON THEM DOES IT SAY MIDDLESBORO ! I would have apologized for having my foot in my mouth but those two FACTS keep me at my same stance. But you obviously don't know the history of Middlesboro vs. Bell. The Yellowjackets dropped the Bobcats because the games were one sided. It left a bad taste in the mouth of the county school. They still played in other sports, just not football.

The rivalry was just renewed and my guess is if the shirt portrayed a yellowjacket as a baby it was slam at Middlesboro for not playing them.

I understand that you don't know much about the history of the programs in the SE end of the state and that's understandable. Why should you? But I think you can see that it was an honest misinterpretation by you of a shirt. I can see why you saw it as one thing, but I think you can see now why you may have misinterpreted it. :Thumbs:
