I'm a Boyle County fan but no matter who you are for, the Lexington Catholic-Boyle County games have to be special. This is a rivalry that should never end. It seems like the players on both sides play a little harder and get up a little more for this game than any other game of the season. Each team respects the other team but also wants very much to beat the other team. The games are, for the most part, cleanly played games. It seems that every player wants to win but wants to earn the win by playing the game as it should be played. I have seen every game in this rivalry for the past several years and I have gotten my money's worth each game. I think tonight's game may again come down to the final possession to determine the winner. May the players on both sides have an injury-free night tonight and whoever wins, my wish is for them to go on and win the 4A state title.
