Highlands vs. Covington Catholic 11/18
Blau Vogel Wrote:Covington Catholic (10-2) has been on a roll since a regular season loss to their biggest in-region rival.

Highlands edged CovCath, 42-37, at CovCath on Sept. 24. Since then, the Colonels have reeled off six straight wins, by an average score of 50-6. The latest victory came on the road at Ashland Blazer.

Don't look now, but the Bluebirds have been winning by an average score of 64-10 over the same stretch.

Comparative scores mean nothing.

As I see it, since CovCath is a second half team, the key may be if they are within striking distance of Highlands at halftime. If Highlands can score big early, as is their habit, then it could be out of CovCath's reach.

As I have said before, Highlands wins this one by at least 2 tds.
