It's hard to point the finger at Coach Eviston. He took the program to a higher level than the former Coach had them playing. I think he does a great job. I appreciated Hightchew's abilities and they had some other good Sr's. However, this just wasn't a very talented team.

It was talented to 2A. This loss was by not means a disappointment. The winner of this game was going to be the odds on favorite to win the state title and by downgrading NCC as not a talented team taints negatively what the Indians accomplished. No, NCC was a very talented team and had one of the most dynamic players in NKY with Brady Hightchew. The Indians found a way to beat the team who was headed to their 5th state finals in the last 6 years.
