Hahaha. Yeah right, if no one showed up to the games and the KHSAA did not get money from it, they would not continue. Games while for the kids, are only to generate money by bringing in more fans.

As much as it would suck, the only way right now to fix it is just to hope no one shows up at the finals.

But in this "give everyone a trophy" liberal society, it is not fair unless every individual gets a state championship. Hell, let's move to 10 classes and have consolation games in Louisville the same weekend. That way there are 40 teams playing in December. And if your team isn't one of the 40, they can apply for a free trophy for participation that is equal in size to the championship, runner-up, 3rd place, and 4th place trophies.
