Why are championship games not televised?
#53
tradition Wrote:Uk has natural turf. Can't play 6 games in two days on natural turf especially in late Nov. and early Dec. Just think of the weather we have had this week and imagine what that field would be like even on Friday night.

Louisville is still playing football on Sat. , scheduling is iffy and messy at best.

Eastern has the field but does not have the accomodations. Not enough hotels to take care of teams and fans. So many hotels have to be quarantied for teams and fans.

So that is why Bowling Green is perfect. It has field turf, plenty of hotels, and the local college teams season is over by then.

Personnally I love the stadium. It is the perfect size for high school football and I think the University and Bowling Green do a tremendous job in hosting .

Are there really that many more hotel rooms in the Bowling Green area than in the Richmond area, especially considering Lexington is only 15-20 away from EKU?
