On the line, as I said before, they had a lot of kids get playing time during the season. Bowling Green only had one game this season that required their starters to stay in the game the whole time, and that was St. X. In the rest of their 14 games, The Purples completely dominated every game and reserves were playing before the first half was over in every game except Greenwood. But even in that game, the Reserves were in before the 3rd quarter was over.

I went back and forth about correcting this since it doesn't affect your overall message, but my Dragon pride simply couldn't let you say that they had the reserves in against them in the first half. It was a 6-0 game into the 4th Quarter the first time they met, and the reserves didn't come in until the final possession of the game. It was 17-7 at halftime in the playoffs and the game was put away by the end of the third quarter, which was probably when the reserves were being heavily peppered into the game.

I agree with your overall message, the Purples will be good again. In the time that I've followed football in this area, Bowling Green has had one single "down" team, and that was 2002. And that type of year doesn't appear to be coming around any time soon. They'll be a contender or favorite for the 5A crown every year under the current alignment.
