I don't understand adoption agencies at all. Regardless o sexual preference I don't see how some families are allowed to keep having kids while some can't catch a break. The system is flawed. Terribly. I hear stories all the time of people adopting while not having anything good going for them while some people that would make awesome parents are turned away. It's almost as bad as the justice system.

As far as who should be allowed to adopt based on sexual preference I would be more apt to lean towards male/female parents who could raise a child as their own. Now I'm. OT completely against same sex marriages adopting, but I would recommend they adopt while the child is still a baby to possibly avoid psychologically damaging the child further. Imagine how hard it is to hear that you were given up as a child only to be implanted in a home that is still not universally accepted
