TSA to expand PreCheck program to speed up airport security lines
#5
Stardust Wrote:^ I get it, but I also have no qualm with subjecting myself to a background investigation. It makes since that those with the proper security credentials already should be honorary exemptions. I go into Federal Buildings in DC several times a year, but I have never had a background investigation done on me to do so (at least "Officially")
For two months, they were doing an extensive background check, including calling my friends, family, and former employers. I had to get fingerprinted. They even did a credit check on me. It was crazy, all the stuff they checked about me before I was cleared. I had to have a detailed job sheet from the last 5 years, with a phone number of a contact that could verify my unemployment times in between. It appeared to be about the same as getting a "Q" clearance to work in a nuclear power plant, of which I went through about 10 years ago.
