Laurel county Homeowner fights back, shoots at burglars

Westside Wrote:Dang RealVille times are tough in Paintsville. I keep a 40 caliber just out of view beside my bed, but I don't have one in every room. There was a home invasion about a half mile from where I live, but I heard it was a pill head robbing a pill head.
I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, but with pills and meth being the way they are today, I just don't want to take chances. Johnson county is definitely not a "saint" when it comes to pills and meth. At one time, I heard that Johnson was the meth capital of Kentucky. I don't know if that's true or not, but it gives me a good excuse to own several hand guns. You know, "guys and their toys." I don't have young kids around anymore, so it makes it easier to keep them everywhere in the house.
