Congratulations to Ozzy! Bleed blue babe!

Coach Collinsworth articulated the skills of Ozzy at Highlands recent banquet -, that not only does Ozzy have great hands and footwork, but Ozzy has awesome football speed and an ability to get past DBs and chase down any pass and make the catch. Highlands repeatedly opened up almost every game this past season with a first play of an 80 yard TD pass from Towles to Sheehan. Why did it work over and over when opposing teams obviously knew it was coming? Acoording to Highlands radio announcers, it happened because Sheehan's speed is deceptive, combined with Towles amazing arm passing the ball 50-60 yards in the air downfield, and Highlands great offensive lines pass blocking, which made for a deadly combination.

Sheehan runs a 4.45 40 and medaled in the state 100 meter last year, with one of, if not the fastest 100 meter times in Highlands recorded history at the state meet. Sheehan also has a huge vertical jump of over 37 inches which came into play on a catch in the Elder game.

Best wishes to Austin Sheehan and to Patrick Towles, one of the best QB/WR combinations ever at Highlands! You guys put up some ridiculous numbers and no doubt could have shattered many individual state records. Rock on Wildcats!
