These are the run outputs this season thus far.
It is not the same Pikeville offense. Games will have to be won with pitching and defense. So far it has worked out. Against better teams, I worry a little. After averaging 9 a game last season, you take into account the bats I would take it to 7, then the loss of the offensive firepower and I would go 5. But 5 hasn't been reached against a quality opponent. This club needs to average around 5/game to be in the top 1-3 of the 15th. Hopefully it will come around soon.
Disagree. You don't even need 5 when you have two aces who can totally shut down the opposition. Hitting needs to improve for sure, but Hamilton and Maynard won't need 5 very often to win.
