Exactly, Bob. I doubt that most gay people want to focus attention on themselves but gay activists crave special attention and special treatment. My family and I visited the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, etc. a few weeks ago and the number of gay "couples" hand holding and hugging in public far outnumbered the heterosexual couples doing the same. The gay rights movement is a disgusting "in your face" affair that shows no regard for what the rest of us view as common decency.
