Aren't you the guy that thinks he can arbitrarily vett all the sources and links that the conservative posters on here put up? Then vector puts up something from outer space and you run with it like it's irrefutable proof. Who supposedly authored this stuff? I mean obscure sources are one thing, sources out of the blue are something else again. Looks like nothing more than a left wing organization's attempt to smear their hero's political foe to me. Here is the sum total of what the site says about Romney and his military status.

We went through all this before. There isn't the first thing wrong with Viet Nam Era military deferments. They were enacted and defined by the US federal government in cooperation with all the branches of the armed services. The idea was to draft qualified candidates who were not involved with college, or who were married, or who had some form of physical or mental shorfall.

The reason for deferments was the widely accepted wisdom that college students would contribute in ways other than militarily to their country. If anybody ever lived up to that conventional wisdom it is Mitt Romney. An unqualified success by any standard, other than those of the left wing extremist's, secular humanist agenda. You're slamming an awful lot of good folks with that draft dodger talk.

But, everybody knows that liberals tend to invent unflattering rumors to compromise the character of republican candidates where no actualy flaws exist. Everybody except liberals that is. You guys are the only ones who actually buy into the propaganda spewed by the DNC and the on-line dirt mills which spread the falsehoods and such. BTW, I knew several guys that got a high draft number and I never heard of a single one who asked to go ahead of those with a lower lottery number.

My father in law went to Vietnam, and hasn't been the same since. I hate draft dodgers like Mitt.
