:HitWall: Your words were "why is Kids from rockcastle not going to college to play ball" stop trying to twist your words around. We have been over this a million of times. In the last of 8 years rock has had 2 Play for UK, had one play at cambellsville for a couple of years. around 10 or 11 play for union, have three more headed there this year. have one goi ng to Washington University St. Louis. There have been several kids from the football team that went on to play baseball or basketball in college.

As I said earlier, when the opportunity came for Rockcastle to pick up Somerset before this past season, NOBODY closer could be found to play Rockcastle. The head coach went school by school up and down I-75 as far as the state line to the south and wound up picking up the bowl game at Harrison County to the north. He then went east as far as Rowan County on I-64 and west until he got Frankfort to play. He went as far as Glasgow down the Cumberland Parkway. He went as far east up the Daniel Boone Parkway as Hazard and got the Perry Central game. Either the schools didn't want to play or could not work Rockcastle into the schedule. That came from the man's mouth in the lobby of the high school at a basketball game. So, either Somerset couldn't work Rock into the schedule....or wouldn't at the time. The same can be said about Southwestern who Rockcastle had two great close games with the two years before with, unfortunately losing both in the final minutes.

Corbin WAS a decent team three years ago with the kid (Watkins) playing that went to EKU. I hear he is a GREAT kid from the coaches at EKU.

Just a quick note about the Rockcastle kids in college. Clark is probably not going to play at Union. There is some differing stories on that. Big Thacker may be going back to Campbellsville after all since he had that surgery and it was succesful. He also is a fine kid who's parents are very nice people.
