Isn't blaming President Bush getting old?
#25
Hoot Gibson Wrote:Liberals will never tire of blaming Bush. Socialism has never worked anywhere but for liberals, that truth is just too painful to accept.

A movie came out in 1951, "The Thing From Another World" The doctor, played by Robert Cornthwaite, attempted to reach out to the thing in a gesture of what might be construed as, intergallactic good will. Of course, as the doctor neared him with his palms up and speaking in a soothing voice, the thing pinched his head off and went about it's business. But, the point is, in the case of the doctor, like the liberal, his was a heart filled with compassion and the milk of human kindness. He was convinced his display of concern would melt the heart of the thing and they'd become great friends. And like the liberal of our time, all this nonsense was confined to a space between his own ears. In like fashion, an imaginary utopia (complete with universal health care), like a bad B movie, is always running as the feature presentation in the minds of liberals. Reality, really is too painful for liberals to accept.
