Not too many posters on this board that I really enjoy reading but you EKU are one of them. Always insightful and always reasonable. You are usually spot on with your assesment. Keep up the good work!!! I had a good friend pose a question to me a couple of years ago, Which streak will end sooner? UK/UT or Pikeville/Belfry? Well we all know the answer to that now. I did answer UK but I didn't think it would happen in Jokers tenure haha. Why did I bring this up? It was to emphasize your point of the 1A school. Honestly it was pretty amazing what Pikeville did during that run in the 80's. Could it be done again? Yes but to say that Pikeville will ever consistantly beat Belfry is probably not a valid statement. Alot of people in the Pikeville area are really excited about their upcomers and yes I know Pikeville's junior high beat Belfry last year, but the sheer numbers of kids that Belfry puts on the field year in and year out is really tough to match. It may take more than 1 or 2 quality classes to roll thru for a 1A school to consistantly beat a 3A power like Belfry. But I do look forward to the games being more competetive in the near future.
