A couple of things to consider with this yrs. Pikeville team are:
1.A first yr. varsity qb. (who by the way showed flashes of a good qb at times), and only being a soph. Remember too that this was his first time out the gate against a veteran ball club on their field.

2. His attempt to get the ball to C. Estep was so close, just right off Estep's finger tips, more than once. If he could have made the connection to Estep, Burke, or others, then the outcome could have been a little different.
This team will gel, and once they work on these mistakes, they will be fine. The talent is there, Coach Mac and staff are doing a great job, so watch for this team to get better, and see them make some noise in the post season.
