I understand what kind of number that is. Very few high school kids will ever reach that kind of number. It is very common though to see those types of numbers being thrown around in college weight rooms.

You obviously haven't seen this kid have you? He is definitely not your average sized HS defensive lineman(at least not in this area). I have not seen a player in our district with this kind of size and strength in a very long time. I don't think South Floyd has ever had a kid with his type of build. He really does have D1 size.

I was at practice yesterday and ask Mack himself, I also confirmed the numbers with the coaches. You are right, the number I was told was exaggerated. He only maxed out at 325 at the camps and combines this year. Still really impressive for a sophomore.

Barring injury, I would be willing to bet that Mack reaches 400lbs easily before he graduates.

You may view me as being bias(and maybe I am), but there are few players that ever come out of this area that get an opportunity to play at the next level on a full ride scholarship. Mack has the size and potential to get himself a free education while playing the game he loves. I just want to see the boy get some recognition and not get overlooked because he plays for a small school not known for producing great football talent/players.

Not trying to bash South Floyd's program or anything, but if this kid is that good and that strong and has that much potential at his age then he needs to be taking his talent somewhere else because that's basically throwing away his future because he will never get recognized or get the credit he deserves if he stays where he is right now.
