Ah, the real underlying motivation shines through, "These figures are not the result of some freak of nature but the effects of man-made global warming caused by our reliance on dirty fossil fuels," As in Al Gore's plaintive pleadings with America's conscience, this is another authoritative rant born of the green hysteria, that seems sort of scientific but is none the less, an opinion.

These guys are never gonna give up the fight. They saw the climate change movie "The Day After Tomorrow" and now they're all tore up and motivated. There isn't the first shred of evidence that man made carbons released into the environment does anything at all. It's a big guess on the order of the "Big Bang" but, these bozo's would reduce our civilization to something less than a third world contender (even third world countries are using coal to generate electricity) for unproven, much less substantiated, speculation.
