Sure. In this area "Lynch" mountain is famous for having been one of the worst road games a team could play. It is always 10 to 15 degrees colder up there and you are not far from the highest point in Kentucky. Technically,that's Black mountain,but Pine mountain runs right up to it. During football season it can snow up there at the drop of a hat. My grandfather once told me that that Mountain was famous for freezing rain,especially on Friday night's. Very seldom did a visiting team leave off that mountain victorious. The"Lynch East Main Bulldogs" is where Harlan Co. get's it's football history.
