1. Highlands (3-0)
How they fared: The Bluebirds returned from their bye week by taking care of business at Louisville Western.
Looking Ahead: Highlands returns home as they welcome Mason County to David Cecil Memorial Stadium.

2. CovCath (3-1)
How they fared: For the third time in four weeks the CovCath defense pitched a shutout, beating Boone County 34-0.
Looking Ahead: The Colonels travel down Dixie Highway to Fort Mitchell to take on their neighborhood rival Beechwood.

3. Cooper (4-0)
How they fared: The magical 2012 campaign continued for the Jaguars as they notched a big win at Campbell County.
Looking Ahead: Cooper looks to start 5-0 for the first-time ever as they play host to Holmes on Friday night in Union.

4. Simon Kenton (4-0)
How they fared: The Pioneers continued their fast start by beating Holmes 31-7 in a game called at the half due to lightning.
Looking Ahead: Simon Kenton heads to NewCath for Saturday affair in their final tune-up game before district play begins.

5. Conner (2-1)
How they fared: Conner suffered a setback losing to the previously winless Dixie Heights allowing a season-high 33 points.
Looking Ahead: The Cougars head to Campbell County in a matchup of two teams looking for a bounce-back win.

6. Campbell County (2-2)
How they fared: The Camels saw their two-game winning streak snapped as they fell to Cooper on their home turf.
Looking Ahead: Bob Miller Stadium will be rocking as Campbell County plays host to Conner on Friday night.

7. Ryle (1-2)
How they fared: Ryle took some much needed rest to regroup after a sluggish start to the season.
Looking Ahead: For the second straight game the Raiders are set for an interstate battle at Columbus DeSales.

8. NewCath (1-2)
How they fared: The bye week came a great time for head coach Eddie Eviston and his bunch after a 1-2 start.
Looking Ahead: NCC will face a red hot Simon Kenton team as the Pioneers pay a visit to Newport Saturday.

9. Holmes (2-1)
How they fared: Holmes picked up their first loss of the season as they were dominated by Simon Kenton.
Looking Ahead: It won’t get any easier for the Bulldogs this week as they face an undefeated Cooper team.

10. Scott (3-1)
How they fared: An early season loss to Holmes dropped Scott out of rankings, but back-to-back wins have them back.
Looking Ahead: The Eagles welcome Franklin County to Eagle Stadium as they look to move to 4-1 on the season.
