I think it is safe to say this year's Trinity team is not as good as last year, and a National Championship appears to be a stretch.

With that said, what Trinity is doing beating these National Powerhouse programs on a weekly basis is something special. The Rocks have simply transcended KY HS Football.

I think the KHSAA should allow them not to compete against a district schedule. Just let them play St. X and if they win, they automatically qualify as a 1 seed in the playoffs. That way they can play 9 regular season games against National schools where they can actually be challenged.
