Russell Co seems to come out each week with a new set of offensive plays. Tonight was no different. I believe that they are extremely focused on using these early games for preparing for the games that matter. Score, total yards, etc. don't seem to matter.

I actually liked most of what I saw during this game. The offense is becoming very balanced, and Nick Britt was spectacular as always. The Jaguars had some long, time consuming drives that kept the Laker D on the field for most of the night. The Lakers scoring drives averaged about 1-minute. So, the D was wearing down late. Nonetheless, each time the Jaguars score the Lakers answered, and when the time started running out, the Nick Britt show started. The last 5-minutes Russell Co. showed what they were capable of....scoring 2-TDs on 5-6 offensive plays.

North Laurel has a couple of really talented players, and played good all night. They should proud of how they performed .......outside of the multiple facemasks on Britt.

This is not the same Laker team as in week 1. This Laker team is proving to have developed a number of offensive sets and will be tough to prepare for down the road.

Game Ball to Lucas Williams for the 49-Yard FG that would have easily made 60+. Not sure what the state record is, but he may break it at some point during the season if he get the opportunity to try.

Are the new sets working on getting other players the ball, or are they trying to find different ways to get the ball in Britt's hands?
