No one commenting on the military industrial complex, or corporate wel-fare, very interesting.

Now for a few other thoughts...
Whitley Co, also where I was born is proud republicans and so is McCreary Co. In fact the school that I attended in high school got all of its money from federal monies. I would argue that we have one of the prettiest campuses in Kentucky. Most of my teachers were paid by Title I money, a federal program, we didn't have much of a tax base, even though our county is huge.

I say all of that to point out not all government is bad. Could you imagine what would happen if we didn't have that money to go to our school?

I am not saying all military is bad either, but I would rather spend my tax monies at home on people than across the sea rebuilding countries, keeping up military bases and etc.

Now if we could magically take away all food stamps, where would people work in my former county? What would the coal miner that just got laid off do? Do you believe that you would get to 100% employment rate? Let the rest die is the answer for some of you.

Would you think that would cause unrest in the U.S.? Therefore, the powers that we give the government in exchange for rest, protecton of rights would have been violated, therefore, revolution. I guess for some that is what they want.

I agree with the term limit idea on both state and federal public service officals.
