in all seriousness though, it could have been 7-0 with a 4th down defensive stop at the 3 or a stop of the 2-point conversion.

I really do not think SK was going to stop CC on the final drive. They ran the same play almost every time and they could not stop it. Was it CC having kids only play one side of the ball (I am not sure if SK 2 platoons as well) or were the CC kids in better shape because in the last drive they drove the SK defensive line back. Plus you have to give props to Josh Griffith in his 1st varsity start at right tackle. He did a fantastic job.

This is the best I have seen the CC defensive line play this year. I also think a big difference on defense was Austin Myers at LB. He also had his 1st varsity start for CC.

If people do not believe in what Lickert does by now they are crazy! He has been successful in wherever he has been, Dayton & Holmes, not easy places to succeed in, IMO.

Now lets hope they do not have a let down because they need to beat Dixie next week!
