I'm not taking up for Ashland in any way, but they got screwed pretty hard last year at Belfry. In terms of officiating, that was the worst officiated game I have seen other than a Cov Cath/Lex Cath game a few years ago. I've only been to Ashland's stadium a couple of times over the past 6-7 years, but both opponents I saw were squashes so I couldn't tell you anything about officiating there. However, if they won the game through "cheating officials," it serves you all right.

Anyone who would complain about a 15-18 year old kid cramping "not getting up fast enough" is just sick. Also, judging from what this person said, it looks like Belfry still had the ball and still had a chance to score.

It has to be difficult for Belfry fans losing to a team that won't make it past the second round in 4A, and as long as you have Central and Bell to deal with, you will never win a state title in 3A.

If you didnt see the game why even post on something you know nothing about?Every team has their ups and downs with refs not just Belfry fans.Yes Belfry still had the ball but you dont know crap about the momentum change because of a breather Ashland got from that break that changed the drive.I will say it with my head held high they faked cramps cause they were getting it handed to them.Now that said Belfry played hard to get back into the game.Had more total yards more first downs and yes more penalties.Think about this Belfry got down early faught back to basicaly tie the game and had every chance to win againt a Good Ashland team so I would say that a 4A team could only squeak out a win against 3A Belfry even with all Belfry mistakes and Ashland fake cramps to stop Belfry Drives.Belfry may not beat Bell or Central but unlike a sissy like you who would obiviously lay down and cry cause "YOU CANT WIN SO YOU QUIT"We will hold our heads high because "WE ARE BELFRY"
