I was going to stay out of this, especially since we don't have to worry about each other for another week. BUT..... Looking at the bold in your quote..... Do you really think that RC beating Campbellsville 51-0 made them better? Boyle learned a lot about their team and what they needed to do even in losses early on. I will say that the early losses to Highlands and Hardin made them better than blowout wins over Campbellsville or S. Laurel would have helped. At this time, it doesn't matter of you are 10-0, 6-4, or 4-6. Everyone is starting 0-0 and it is win or go home. Playoff experience comes in to play now, and over the last 3 years this Sr. class at Boyle is 12-1 with 2 rings and RC is 1-3. Bottom line is both teams this year are very good teams, and it should be a great game if it comes around.

I agree with what your saying, but I do think there is much to learn even in blowout wins. There's opportunities to develop younger players who need experience, there's opportunities to work on formations, new plays, etc...things you wouldn't typically do in a contested game. My point is that although our schedule is not nearly as tough, we've taken care of business and at the beginning of the playoffs we have two really good 4A teams poised to play in the 2nd round. If I were BC, I'd take the game agains RC every bit as serious as the potential game with LC, or they might just not get that rematch. Regardless, if there is a team in the state that has a chance of de-throwning HHS, it's going to come from this region.......good stuff.
