Hope to see Belfry continue to work on their passing game,really believe their passing game could be the difference in a run back to BG. Like to see them throw it about 15 to 20 times in this game, almost positive that we will win this game with no problem. I wish we would run a few plays out of the shotgun formation(as one other poster mentioned),this would help Sani be able to get seven or eight yards behind the line of scrimmage. Seems like most of our pass plays only let him playaction and set up only four or five yards back,if he could get a few more yards back in the pocket,he would be able to see his receivers better and be able to see were the rush is coming from better. I feel like this offense is just starting to take off....Belfry- 53/Knott County-14

I was thinking about it, and Belfry has pretty good personnel if they needed to run out of the spread in a 2 minute and/or come from behind situation.

Warren is a more than capable passer and Carr would be an ideal HB to stay back in pass protection, who still has the skill set to be used on a draw or a flare out if needed.

Messer is ideal to be lined up at TE to maximize protection, or if you solely need him to line up as a 4th WR he certainly is adept and skilled enough as well.

Taylor is a prototypical slot receiver. He has the ability to take a short pass and get up field with his feet, he has the speed to get across the field on crossing routes or he can get down field on deeper routes. If need be, you can also motion him back as a second Halfback if you want to give a different look or have enough time to utilize a running game.

Huddle is a true wideout. He runs crisp routes and has very good hands and is skilled enough to come back to the ball to help Sani if he has to roll out.

Robinson is a HB by trade, but anyone who follows Belfry football knows he may very well be the best receiving threat on the team. He has not only displayed he has good hands, but he has made several amazing catches in his career. I like the idea of lining him up on the same side as Taylor in the slot. This will allow him to work downfield and force the Safety's hand (who also has to be aware of Huddle going deep on the otherside as well as Taylor getting to the middle of the field), while also putting him in proximity to peel back and block for Taylor on quick hitters and bubble screens.

If Belfry has this package in their repertoire, which I feel they do as they ran some shotgun with Sani last year, I would love to see some of it the next two weeks. Everyone east of I-75 knows what defensive look Breathitt will give Belfry. It would do the Pirates a lot of good if those Safeties and CB's that are expecting to be playing the run all night suddenly had to worry every possession about multiple capable receivers in space. Additionally, I wouldn't mind forcing Holcomb to waste an entire day of preparation solely on having to honor Belfry running a variation of the spread.
