Your own source proves I am right. Click on section II, the state-by-state explanation of underage drinking laws. I think you will find in the Kentucky section:

*Although underage consumption of alcohol is not explicitly prohibited in the law, underage possession of alcohol is prohibited without exceptions. According to the Alcohol Policy Information System (APIS), "Possession and consumption are closely linked because consumption generally requires possession."

I other words, if Kid A has a beer in his hand and pours it into Kid B's mouth, is Kid B guilty of a crime? He never possessed the beer, just consumed it. By the letter of the law, my point is correct.

My source does not prove you are right. If you read it in its entirety is said Kentucky was one of the states that did not make an exception. My first link is not working for some reason, but as the A team posted in KRS 244.085 it is plainly against the law for a person under the age of 21 to be in possession of alcohol. You have to be in possession to consume. I'm not trying to argue the point at all. But if a person under the age of 21 is caught with alcohol on there person or in there blood they can be arrested and or ticketed. And according to your example both would be cited.
