No, not pompous and arrogant. Just confident because of how it has all played out over the years. One is never arrogant and pompous when history is in his favor. One is merely stating the truth.

So, tomcat4life, win something and then you will have some credibility. Your boasting is ill conceived because you haven't won anything for decades. And, of course, much of that "tradition" is mythical. On the other hand, FTH has won a title or two, don't you think? As I posted before, there are two premier high school football programs in the Commonwealth- FTH and Trinity. There are a number of good schools- public and private- in the second tier. Then there is the third tier of average schools which would include Ashland.

What did I say that's boastful? What I said was I don't think it will be a cake walk for FTH. I said nothing disrespecting FTH.
I think it speaks volumes that you deny being arrogant and deny being pompous but don't deny being an ass.
