Herb Conley was a player back in the 50's and a coach in 70's including coach of the 75 jaws defense team. He is one of the great Ashland players and coaches and is held in high regard just about everywhere.

All that sounds fine- for Ashland. However, I feel sure that your last sentence is a bit of an exaggeration. Most football followers around the Commonwealth, I feel quite sure, aren't particularly familiar with the name and, like me, would have to ask.
