Sometimes a team outplays the opposition but...it just wasn't meant to be.

The two biggest plays of the game were the illegal procedure penalty on P-burg on 1st and goal, and the long screen/run by Anderson, fumbled, then the 60 some yard runback which set up Danville's final TD on the next play.

Tell you what, though... this was the best performance by the defense all year. Danville had the one long drive running the ball, but other than that, the defense played well.

This team could be a REAL force over the next couple of years as the lines strengthen and mature. To my eyes, this team has come light-years since the season's start !!

I wholeheartedly agree. Even with the bad plays, they played a pretty good game.
