Well Smashmouth, I was gonna take this one step further than your analysis, but this is what I came up with. It kind of depressed me actually. I thought 1a would fair better than this because we usually find a way to challenge the big boys, but here it is. This is what you get if you compare the records of these 8 teams against teams in the top 50:
