All I can say is, WOW. The fact that you can find any acceptance to this is mind blowing. Somerset had a good football team, they were still not as good as NCC. No turnovers in that game and NCC wins 42-6. With that being said, somerset got every break in this game and the game was close in the 4th. Because this team was so poorly coached and disciplined, that's why they lost that game. I guess Its just win at any cost in other parts of the state. Do I think for one second that the NCC kids are angels, heck no. I know they run their mouths, but never in the direction of a coach and they never show a lack of respect for the game itself. Kids are kids and can be coached, but punks find ways to lose games and that was evident Friday night. Let me say this, 75, 22, 44 and 83 are very good football players, it's a shame a few bad apples had to ruin a good opportunity this season for their team.

And the 42-6 comment is also ridiculous. "If" they don't turn it over then it is this... Once again NKY Hubris. "IF" SHS gets 3 stops on 3rd down, or the critical stop on fourth down late in the ball game then the game has a different outcome. NCC didn't overpower anyone, they were methodical and ate clock. You play this game 10 times and the two teams split, and thats the truth. How about NCC going over the top with 1:44 left to go in the ball game with the lead on second down? Was a 20-12 lead not big enough for the NCC ego? We can all play the "what if" game... Here's to Caldwell Co. winning one for public schools, although I don't think it happens.
