I think that proves my point ten fold about how much better NCC was. The fact that a team can make runs like your saying simply shows how weak your competition is. Don't talk to me about district lines. There are 5 catholic schools within 20 miles up here, and you can't cross district lines here either. Not to mention, NCC has 40 kids, 10th through 12th on their roster. Same as the other schools they play in 2A. Don't act like they have such an advantage. Losing at Football boils down to two simple things, either you have good coaches and your players aren't good, or you have good players and your coaches aren't good. I realize kids say things on the field in the heat of battle, that's not what I'm talking about. Your trying to justify the things in pregame, and good teams don't do those things, sorry.

So losing never "boils down" to one good team making more plays than the other good team? You invalidate everything you say positive about NCC when you make comments like this. IMO this game was the 2a state title game. Posts claiming the game should have been a 42-6 blowout are ridiculous, and make NCC folks seem as if beating a good SHS team by 9 was just unacceptable because they are inferior to your program in some way. On the coaching matter, Hayes had 116 yards on 26+ carries and no runs of more than 12. Your vaunted special teams had no returns of more than 20 yards... You think this was by accident? The pregame comments that were supposedly said are kids being kids, and once more your boys are definitely not angels either.
