Gotta say it stings (pun intended) this moring. Not because the Pirates lost, there is no shame in losing to Central and putting on what will likely be the best state championship game of the weekend for the 2nd straight year. If Belfry had to lose I wouldn't have it any other way.

I feel sorry for the Seniors of the Belfry team who worked their butts off after the 2010 pounding to prove to everyone they where just as good as Central. I know in the eyes of many they aren't because they never crossed that hump. However in the eyes of this football fan they accomplished every thing they needed to accomplish to prove it to me.

Central is the king of the mountain. They'll be a threat again next year and it's because Scroggins knows what he is doing. I don't know what the Pirates will be returning next year, my source is stinging a bit at the moment so my information flow is limited.
