Well Noble, I think his point is just that Mayfield could and did stop Fairviews offense. Fairview on the other hand could not stop Mayfield's offense. Yes there were several turnovers. More than half of those turnovers were because of a good defensive play. There were some that were unforced. I saw many plays where Mayfield blew there O up in the backfield though. We only saw 2 or so that Fairview blew up in Mayfield's backfield. Yes we did have the speed advantage. As hard as it may be for you to admit, we had the 2 fastest players on the field in Jordan Brown and Deon Jackson. I saw them actually run away from your fastest. If you don't think strength of schedule had anything to do with this, you are missing the boat. It is part of the philosophy used to build our program and many others. Look at your power programs and you will see this is the the norm for them year in year out. It's kinda funny though, this is the same kind of comments we heard after winning in 2010. The truth is a better team forces the other team to make these types of mistakes. I hope Fairview learned something from this years success that they can build upon. I'm sure the seniors that led this charge would like to think they caused a change in the program for the better.
