Never seen a fan base be so sensitive. How did you all feel last year after losing to lowly Hazard? I am sure there were some excuses made, injuries, bad calls etc etc. Anyway. Fairview ran the ball well, they punted how many times in the game? 3 maybe 4? The rest were turnovers, a score and a couple of turnovers on downs in the red zone or close to it. Fairview was not ready for the big game. Was there schedule weak? Yes it was, however many of you said they were never make it because of that, yet they made it. First time at the dance and those boys were scared and nervous, you could see it by the way they played. After fairview cut the score to 14-8 (on a drive that was pretty impressive). They onside kicked, recovered and were driving again until a kid fumbled trying to get extra yards (those boys ran hard, gotta to give them credit). Mayfield scored again and it was over. Fariview is not built to play catch up and I was shocked by the defense not being ready for you all. Anyway I stand by previous post, fairview could move the ball untill they did something stupid. After that I congratulated Mayfield on being so good and a State champ. The Jackson kid is the real deal this year. Your team is a state champ, enjoy it, your self esteem seems to be connected to the success of Mayfield. Should be feeling good instead of so defensive because someone pointed out something that we may not agree on. Mayfield is really good though, could have probably gotten to the semis in TN.

Talk about sensitive...enjoy your runnerup trophy, probably the only one you will ever see.
