[Killer in the Sun]

Must have watched a different game. Fairview had 14 first downs and averaged 5.5 yards a rush. They had multiple turnovers, some was caused by the defense, some were just bad luck, some were caused by extra effort. Take away the turn overs and dumb penalties and they moved the ball at will. Mayfield is state champ! Congrats which I said in the last post but you must have missed it right behind the truth.

Fairview's only td was a very long nice run by #44, then a nice run by #3.
Fairview on sides kicks the ball while a Mayfield player looks at it like it's a hot tomato while Fairview recovers on about the 35. FV then moves it to around the 15 and fumbles. These are hardly long drives. Fairview had moderate success moving the ball and could have scored a couple of times more than they did. However, Mayfield ran through them like a knife through hot butter and had a running clock with 4 minutes to go in the 3rd qter. You are exaggerating that Fairview moved the ball at will. You dont score 8 points and move the ball at will.
