Lexington would be the best place, followed by EKU, then Lville, and then WKU IMO.

WKU is so isolated form the rest of the state it isnt funny.
I can only imagine how long of a bus ride Belfry had to take.

Agreed...it would be a great opportunity for UK to showcase the university with an open house weekend in association with the championships.

Average attendance was about 7,000 at Western. Roy Kidd seats 20,000 at EKU....more than enough. I'd venture to say attendance would increase by 1-2K with a more centralized location. Lexington would handle hotel/motel overflow in Richmond. A great oppty to promote the Colonels campus.

Plus I'd enjoy another oppty 20 years later to once again enjoy the likes of Tazwells, TBombs, Sutters, and shaking my arse at the Dog. Those of you in your 40's can relate. Forgive me Lord....had a flashback:BigLaugh:.

A centralized location is always more inclusive and well generate more attendance.
