Is Chuck Smith interested in the Ashland job?

Also I believe the community support and booster support at ashland makes it very enticing which is why he listened. That being said it would be a divisive hire and he knows that. And some certain public tomcat figures wouldn't approve. So why would he leave JC for a situation where he would have to sell himself to some of the decision makers is why I don't think he takes the job.

Did you not read Coach Booths post? Coach Booth just stated that he has not even been contacted to begin with (which if anyone would know, it would be Coach Booth).....Why would Matney be the least bit worried about Quinton Baker anyways? He developes a superstar caliber back every year on his own. Have you forgotten the never ending stable of Blume, Johnson, Grimm, Richardson, Hall, Dillon, Jude, and now Young and Belcher?......Enticing community support and booster support? lol...I've been to Putnam and I've been to the nest. Ashland cant even come close to that of Johnson Co.....Now that's a good one....What you have are a snobby elitist feeling bunch that just cant get over the fact that the glory years were 50 years ago....lol...The ego of some Ashland ding-a-lings just cant let them imagine that not everyone is just dying to head up an inferior underacheiving program. Commonly known as the NotsoBADCAT Syndrome".......This is all nothing more than just the wishful ultimate fantasy of Tomcat fans.
