So astronomers have known for sometime we would have a rather large asteroid pass within the earth and the moon yesterday.

I find it interesting the same day the asteroid would be the closest to our planet a "meteor" the size of a large bus traveling 33,000 mph enters our atmosphere over Siberia.

However, this is pure coincidence according to the experts. The events are being reported as unrelated by the media.

Would someone please enlighten me to the sheer coincidence of this event or are we simply mere buffoons of the media....maybe a lot of both nicker:
