That is a simply brilliant observation, vector! If the federal government terminated its contract with my employer, I might be without a job for awhile. (The company for which I work has many clients. I just happened to be assigned to a federal contract at the moment.) However, I normally get contacted at least a couple times a week by competing companies as other jobs in my field become available.

Let me see if I am right if the us government stopped sending you a monthly check and other freebies it would be the end of life as you know it hmmmmm
