My husband and I take driving vacations every now and then; even if we fly to the beginning point. (let that sink in a minute

Anyway, we flew to Vegas and did a driving tour around the national parks. I believe there's 5 or 6 close by. Spent my birthday at the El Tovar on the rim of the Grand Canyon, dinner cruise Lake Meade, Bryce Canyon NP, Monuments NP, etc. I am glad that we included Vegas on our itenerary but I don't plan on going back even if I'm in the area. I probably sound crazy, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I enjoyed the surrounding area so much more!!
